Duney came out the last part of June this year. Since then, I have done, within my means and limits, everything I knew to do to push him out so to speak. When I say everything I knew, I mean everything I have read that told me what to do. Let’s face it. I’ve never done this before. I don’t have an author near by to follow around and learn that that is how you do it.

Nope. I took the advice I read and ran with it without having a true idea of how to accomplish what I had read. I’ve had little successes. For that, I am thankful. Duney hasn’t had major success and deep, deep down I’m okay with that. However, I am aware that I need to learn and I need to be willing to take chances, even ones that may fail.

So, as I said before, I now have a team of people who know what they are doing helping me. Thank goodness! I have closed my eyes and thrown my dart out into the world of possibilities. As I sit here now, I wait anxiously to find out if Duney will get to be a part of something next month. There is something even in November that may be a possibility. Really, I can’t wait. I mean, in some ways, I’m literally like the kid in the candy store, but my thrill is all about books. I know there is a chance I may not get to participate in things this year. I’m learning. Mine and Duney’s time will come. As will the other books waiting their turn to be written.

Speaking of which, what is your favorite memory with one or both of your parents? Where was your favorite ice cream place and what kind of ice cream was it? Were there any toppings?

Curious as to why I ask these questions… stay tuned for the new book!
